As the lead vocalist of Grizzly Bear and a founding member of Department of Eagles, Daniel Rossen has long been steeped in the spotlight alongside bandmates. You Belong There is his debut solo album, written across an isolated location in upstate New York and in Santa Fe with Daniel Rossen performing almost all of the parts on the album. The album explores themes of adulthood and the adventure of new possibilities. After all, a solo album is a new adventure in itself.
