on rune grammofen. the norwegian trio combine jazz/improv and rock/metal influences to create their own expressive music inspired by black sabbath, jimi hendrix, ornette coleman and albert ayler. the trio's members also play in shining, solveig slettahjell's slow motion orchestra, humvee, puma and lord kelvin. this album has an untamed energy and has a rougher and looser edge whilst at the same time seeming more focused.
