Fifteen years after the release of their eponymous debut album, in 2010 Lamb returned with the existential 'Five' album. Now packed in a digipack and with 4 bonus tracks. In the summer of 2009 Andy Barlow and his longtime friend and musical partner, Lou Rhodes reformed Lamb, the band they started in 1994, to play a handful of festival dates, including The Big Chill, Glastonbury and Portugal's Festival Mares Vivas. To say the reunion was a success would be a gross understatement. A reflective conversation followed, as Lou recalls, " When Andy said 'the time feels right to make a new album' I was thinking exactly the same thing and I was rendered speechless. After such a big break and the fact that we'd both gone off and done solo records and tours, he was right - it was the right time." Jon Thorne again lends his potent double bass to the mix, and Damien Rice turns in a stunning duet on 'Back To Beginning',' but the nucleus of 'Five' is stringently and unmistakably Lou and Andy.
