Known as the “Godfather of Goth”, Peter Murphy was the vocalist of pioneering post-punk band Bauhaus. With the demise of the Bauhaus in 1983, vocalist Peter Murphy was involved in a project with Japan’s Mick Karn (Dali’s Car) before starting his solo career in 1985. This 5 disc box set celebrates his first solo albums, Should The World Fail To Fall Apart / Love Hysteria / Deep / Holy Smoke and Cascade. Each album features additional bonus tracks of rare versions and mixes with one previously unreleased recording titled Critic’s Choice which is an early, abandoned demo. The CD set is packaged in a hard cover book and is a tribute to the first decade of Peter Murphy as a solo artist.
