A Midsummer's Day Dream

Mark Eric Malmborg was a 60's Hollywood actor, male model and music fan. Mark Eric Malmborg (along with arranger and ex-Animal Vic Briggs) constructed this beautiful album, a unique pastiche of four freshman / Beach Boys sensibilities coupled with wistful melancholia. Defiantly soft, 1969's A Midsummer's Day Dream caught the tail end of Los Angeles' '60s pop innocence perfectly, just as it slipped into infinity.

CD - This expanded edition of the stone classic is supplemented by 16 bonus tracks recorded around the same time as the lp. 8 of these bonus tracks - culled from master tapes Mark recently discovered - are exclusive to this expanded edition! the full-colour, 20-page booklet also includes exclusive, previously unpublished photos, and updated and expanded liner notes that feature the participation of Mark Eric himself.
