'acousto de perfecto', a companion piece to critically-acclaimed 'electro de perfecto', is a full-length collaboration between mike viola and la-based violists eric summer and kate reddish - 'mike and the violas', if you will. however, there's more to the collaboration than a simple pun. 'acousto de perfecto' features 6 new songs alongside 5 re-interpretations from viola's catalogue, including 3 from the aforementioned sister album 'electro de perfecto'. amongst the new recordings is "i'm your dog", co-written with inara george of the bird and the bee. the cover art for 'acousto de perfecto' was created by legendary illustrator jeff cummins, famed for his iconic lp covers for pink floyd, led zeppelin, peter gabriel and paul mccartney.
