Keep Of Kalessin presents a limited green vinyl edition marking 25 years of their second album, Agnen. Featuring former Satyricon live guitarist Obsidian C., this album follows their 1997 debut, Through Times Of War.
Agnen offers eight tracks of hyper-speed dark and epic black metal, incorporating elements of thrash and eerie discordant riffing. The band's themes are inspired by The Earthsea Quartet, a fantasy world created by respected American writer Ursula K. Le Guin, featuring magic and conflict between darkness and light.
Originally formed in 1994 in Trondheim, Norway, Keep Of Kalessin achieved significant success in the black and extreme metal scene. Recorded at Brygga Studios, Trondheim (The 3rd & The Mortal) in October/November 1998, Agnen showcases a relentless storm of brutality.
This special edition of Agnen: A Journey Through The Dark celebrates its 25th anniversary with limited green vinyl, presenting the album in a new light for fans of the band's iconic sound.
