Originally released in 1972, Dominique Blanc-Francard's Ailleurs blends fuzzy guitar, chunky drums, strange effects and layers of sound with catchy songs. Drawing on Pink Floyd, King Crimson and Led Zeppelin, it is a distinctive meeting of psychedelic pop and progressive rock.
Blanc-Francard worked as a sound engineer at the Château d'Hérouville studio from 1970 to 1973, contributing to recordings by Pink Floyd, David Bowie, T. Rex, Elton John and Cat Stevens. Ailleurs reveals another side of his musical imagination.
