After mooncake songs (2025), which followed Wilhelm's increasingly difficult personal relationship with China, the tone shifts here toward political unease and cautious hope. These songs draw on real events and personal conversations, reflecting developments in Eastern Europe, Germany’s rightward shift and growing intolerance.
