The third re-release from Peter Hammill's k group, 'The Margin' gave an insight into the furious energy of the beat music Hammill's cracking live band produced. 'The Margin +' was originally a bonus CD that came with 'The Margin' from Hammill's own label Fie! and this is the first time it has been on vinyl.

'+' features the original masters from the 1985 release, which were live recordings from the band's early 80s performances including the audience background sounds, unlike 'The Margin', allowing listeners to be transported to front of stage during the iconic performances from the k group. The instantly recognisable black and white photograph of Peter Hammill, used for original tour posters and 'The Margin' front cover, has been re-imagined for the new, 2017 album cover for '+'.
