Be Forewarned

The 1994 album of supreme doom from the US heavy metal legends - presented on double heavyweight 180gm vinyl. Starting life in the early 1970s, US band Pentagram are one of the most enduring and influential underground bands in Heavy Metal history. Influenced by British bands The Groundhogs & Black Sabbath, their own unique take on Doom Metal has subsequently influenced everyone from Paradise Lost to Cathedral. Peaceville signed the band in the early 1990's and released the 3 classic albums, 'Relentless', 'Day Of Reckoning' & 'Be Forewarned'. 'Be Forewarned' was a classic follow-up of heavy metal & doom-fuelled riffing combined with dark lyrics from the ever enigmatic frontman Bobby Liebling. It was originally released in 1994, & included some of the band's strongest material to date, with a portion of the featured tracks originally conceived back in the 1970's. This edition of 'Be Forewarned' is presented on double black 180gm heavyweight vinyl with gatefold sleeve, including band liner notes.
