Beg! / Concrete

Stockholm trio Vero has been making waves over the past few years with their nineties-infused alt-pop. After a few singles and a debut EP with Sony the band were in the process of completing the follow-up when they were suddenly dropped. Torn contract in hand, something new was born, and the band finished their new EP within a week that was released in 2020 by PNKSLM Recordings (ShitKid, Les Big Byrd, Cherry Pickles etc.).

The trio experiment with genres and references, challenging the idea of what a modern band is supposed to be - this time with artistic freedom. These experiments have resulted in a forthcoming debut album, due for worldwide release in Spring 2022, but first comes a brand new 7'' (limited to 200 copies) featuring new single 'Beg!' and a brilliant reimagining of Shame's 'Concrete', two tracks showcasing the band's move into indie rock territory, while retaining their pop chops.
