First official release of three extraordinary live performances by jazz legend Bill Evans. 180 gram virgin vinyl, includes 20-page LP-size booklet with rare and previously unseen Bill Evans photos and new Eddie Gomez and Marty Morell interviews. Plus essays by Dutch jazz pianist Bert Vuijsje, and producers Frank Jochemsem and Zev Feldman. Includes Bill Evans' only existing version of Duke Ellington's classic, "I Let A Song Go Out Of My Heart. The complete Hilversum concert (which occupies all four sides of LPs 1 and 2), as well as the Metropole session (LP 3, side F, tracks 3-4) are previously unreleased. The Amsterdam concert (LP 3 side E and side F, tracks 1-2) has been only available before on bootleg editions with much inferior sound quality. This is the first official release of the three performances. All of the music presented here bears splendid sound quality and has been mastered for vinyl by Bernie Grundman from the original Dutch radio source tapes. Also, the Hilversum concert contains Bill Evans' only existing version of Duke Ellington's classic, "I Let a Song Go Out of My Heart".
