Released in 1977, this album by Bill Summers stands among the most sought after treasures of the Afro-Cuban jazz funk fusion scene. A virtuoso percussionist and key member of The Headhunters, Summers assembled some of the finest musicians from the American West Coast, including Hadley Caliman, Rodney Franklin and Ray Obiedo.

Together, they crafted a remarkable album where Afro-Cuban rhythms, funk and jazz blend with rare sophistication. The superb “Magic,” now considered a classic among collectors and jazz-funk enthusiasts, captivates with its smooth groove and irresistible atmosphere. Tracks such as “Latican Space Mambo” and “Flying” remain favorites among DJs and devoted fans of the genre.

Long out of print and virtually impossible to find on vinyl, this essential recording returns in a deluxe edition featuring an OBI side strip, a printed inner sleeve and stunning Opaque Red Vinyl
