In the late '80s, with bands like Guns N' Roses finding stardom with stripped-down, loud rock and roll, AC/DC couldn't have picked a better time to release Blow Up Your Video. The album found an extremely receptive US audience, and was the band's first record to reach the Top 10 since For Those About To Rock (We Salute You). And while it wasn't as consistent as some of the band's classic releases, Blow Up Your Video was easily one of the best hard rock/heavy metal releases of that time.
