Blue On Blue

Jean Turk is the daughter of a chieftan of the Cherokee tribe, and back in 76 found herself adrift in Liverpool, hooking up with members of Axe and Mad Dogs (post Windlord). These two sessions were recorded at Spaceward Studios in Cambridge and SIS Studios Northampton and produced by Steve Giles of Dark. Heavy, moody, atmospheric blues rock notable for killer lead guitars by Axe’s Anthony Barford. It’s been falsely stated that Axe only recorded their 1970 LP, but here they are in 76.
