Bootleg Series Volume 1-3 - Rare and Unreleased 1961 - 1991

The first eight volumes of Dylan's Bootleg Series have been reconfigured to jewel case packaging. Finally, the archive doors are flung wide, and a start is made collecting together the astonishing wealth of material hitherto only seen in the light on bootlegs (and many of the tracks here never even made it that far).

Publishing demos, alternate versions, classics that didn't fit the albums they were recorded for, this collection contains 58 songs (over 3 CDs) covering the period from 1961 through to 1991. All digitally remastered, 38 of which have never been released on an official album.

Among the gems included are early examples of the man's genius in jaw-dropping versions of folksongs like "House Carpenter" and "Moonshiner," the full-length "She's Your Lover Now," an acoustic "Subterranean Homesick Blues," the 'Waltz' demo of "Like a Rolling Stone," and the legendary "Blind Willie McTell."
