Before Boston, rock and roll sounded smaller and bluesier: made for clubs, not stadiums. Tom Scholz's uncompromising vision, which he relentlessly pursued, basically invented arena rock. The album's influence is still inspiring over half a century later.

For its 50th anniversary, this edition was created in close collaboration with Tom Scholz and includes a selection of the legendary "lost" demos, restored but left in their original sonic state. Available as a 2LP 180g vinyl set with bonus 45rpm 12" EP, or as a hybrid stereo SACD, both mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering.
