Bristol Out Of My Window / We Love You

Following the critical success of their superb album Lowlands, The Lovely Basement return with a new double A-side single on Precious Recordings of London.

‘Bristol Out Of My Window’ is a lilting tribute to their hometown – adopted in some cases, as the lyrics make plain – backed with a distinct counterpoint in the shape of ‘We Love You’, an arresting cover version of The Psychedelic Furs.

The Lovely Basement’s captivating mix of indie and alt-country-style Americana mines the sweet seams of such bands as the Velvet Underground, Yo La Tengo and the Jayhawks.
