Bouncing back after the problems that beset the Crisis? What Crisis? album, Supertramp saw their 1977 follow-up, Even In The Quietest Moments..., reach more ears than ever in the US, where it became the group's first gold-selling record. Taking in 130 cities across seven months from April through to November that year, the tour in support of the album was a glorious display of everything that made Supertramp one of Britain's finest groups of the 70s. Recorded for broadcast, their 10 November 1977 appearance at Queen Mary College, London, opened with a buoyant rendition of their transatlantic hit single Give A Little Bit before offering a generous helping of early classics (Bloody Well Right, Lady) and Even In The Quietest Moments... standouts (From Now On, Fool's Overture). Capturing the show for posterity, Broadcast What Broadcast proves why Supertramp's progressive-pop was built to last.
