DJGT Entertainment are proud to present their latest release, as Briti$h returns with the Chalk Alley EP. The Ipswich MC has been steadily working away on new music since the release of his debut EP, Stuck in a Bunker, and is now poised to unveil his most accomplished music to date. Chalk Alley is a concept EP of sorts, as Briti$h captures the essence of back-alley life, as kids hang out playing hopscotch in the daytime, before night falls and the scene turns to dice and card games. As with the majority of Briti$h’s music, the EP is driven by its lyrical content, which stays perfectly paired with his production choices. Once again label mate Bunker Beats is at the helm with a host of other capable producers. Chalk Alley is a well varied compendium, from the jazzy horn-flecked strains of the titular opening track, and the pulsating hard-hitting rhythms of ‘Woke’, to the atmospheric feel of ‘Watch Out’ and the piano driven boom bap glory of ‘Who’. Lyrically, Briti$h explores real life commentary and introspection, as well as recounting smoke fuelled tales of the night. The diversity of his beats allow a window in to the breadth of his style. Briti$h is not alone on the mic, as he’s drafted in features from Sloth of Indigo Frequency, and Kyle Parrish (KP), who adds some extra layers to 'Elevate'.
