Changing Times

17-track re-issue of this obscurity from German metal act Mania, with seven bonus tracks taken from the Wizard Of The Lost Kingdom mini-LP.

Originally released in 1989 via Noise Records, Changing Times was the only full-length record Mania produced, slotting in neatly alongside the power metal of fellow countrymen Helloween, Running Wild and Blind Guardian.

Formed in Hamburg in 1982, Mania released their first demo in 1983, and eventually, after heavy touring and more demo releases, signed to Noise Records, releasing their debut mini-LP in 1988 to positive reviews.

Their sole full-length album emerged in 1989, and despite tours with acts like Doro and Heavens Gate, the band splintered in 1990 and broke up, leaving these recordings as their ‘official’ legacy.

Considered something of a cult classic, Changing Times is re-issued in a jewel case with expanded booklet including many archive images.
