Big dreams are often born in small towns, and James Bay is one such dreamer who dared to make his come true. The Hitchin-born troubadour is on course to captivate the world and dominate 2015 as a serious contender for stardom following his impressive achievements over the last year; International shows, sold-out tours, chart-topping releases and the adoration of the fashion industry. Not forgetting the recent announcement that he's bagged the coveted Brits Critic's Choice Award and been runner up for the BBC Sound of 2015. It's country miles away from life in a sleepy Hertfordshire market town where he grew up.  Bay releases his hugely anticipated debut album entitled 'Chaos and the Calm'. Recorded in Nashville at Blackbird Studios with Grammy award-winning Kings Of Leon producer Jacquire King, 'Chaos and the Calm' chronicles the feelings, thoughts and fears of an artist in transition; the narrative deals with escapism, self-discovery, and the emotional adjustments required to keep up with his fast-changing circumstances. The common thread that weaves throughout the record is the acknowledgement of the odyssey that drove him out of Hitchin to chase his dreams and the disparate consequences he battled along the way.
