Clovis is Charley Crockett’s fourth full-length LP of original music in just 16 months, and his 17th studio album since his 2015 debut, A Stolen Jewel. It is another seriously impressive run from one of modern country’s hardest-working songwriters.
Co-produced by Charley Crockett and his longtime creative ally, Grammy Award-winning producer Shooter Jennings, the album was largely written and recorded with The Blue Drifters in Clovis, New Mexico.
The sessions took place at the iconic Norman Petty Studios, a national landmark where legends including Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, and Waylon Jennings cut some of their biggest hits in the 1950s.
