Cold Waves Of Color Volume 3

The third volume in this essential series of the 1980s UK cassette underground scene showcases the majority of tracks from UK garage cold wave bands. These bands utilized synthesizers, drum machines, and sequencers such as EMS VCS3, Minimoog, Korg MS-20, Roland Juno 6, SH-09, TR-808, creating a unique sound that is a part of the history of electronic music development in the UK.

This latest collection of rare cold wave tracks from the Color Tapes archives includes a full-color poster and a rare reprint of issue 2 of Color Tapes' own Purple Twilight fanzine from 1985. The fanzine features articles on bands like BUSHIDO and MYSTERY PLANE, as well as The Subway Organization cassette catalogue from 1985.
