ScHoolboy Q returns with CrasH Talk, his fifth studio album three years removed from his Grammy-nominated Blank Face LP. Preceded by singles Numb Numb Juice and CHopstix (featuring Travis Scott), the Top Dawg Entertainment MC comes through with dependable bars on the project, which boasts features from two of the West Coast's unwavering voices, YG and Ty Dolla Sign, and Atlanta young guns 6LACK, Lil Baby and 21 Savage. A sense of weariness pervades CrasH Talk. This is understandable considering ScHoolboy Q has had to deal with the loss of close friend Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle within six months of each other.
