Curtains

Being the Tindersticks third album, Curtains is one of the most praised by fans. Seductive sound, luscious songwriting, smooth singing are just a few impressions from several media. Isabella Rossellini makes an appearance and sings a duet with Stuart Staples, which was a welcome surprise for the steadily growing fanbase at the time. The Tindersticks stayed away from the standards of the Britpop/rock scene and have become a band that is not easily boxed into a category. After producing two albums that were seriously dark and string-drenched, they managed to produce a slightly lighter sound filled with a subtlety preserving their beloved dark side and managed to include humour, melancholy and intimacy. This album has more depth than the previous two.

CD - Featuring several alternative versions, instrumentals and b-side's makes this re-release complete.

2LP - Double 180 Gram Vinyl housed in Gatefold Sleeve. Expanded edition contains the original 15 Track Album plus 9 Bonus tracks among others, Paco’s Theme, A Marriage Made In Heaven (duet with Isabella Rossellini) and Rented Rooms.
