Delain: Frozen Silhouettes 2006-2009

3CD anthology covering the early years of Dutch symphonic metal group Delain. Includes live bonus tracks and an instrumental version of their debut album Lucidity. For fans of Within Temptation and Nightwish.

Formed by former Within Temptation keyboard player Martijn Westerholt and fronted by Charlotte Wessels, Delain was initially conceived as a studio project. The success of Lucidity (CD 1), recorded between 2005 and 2006 and released by Roadrunner in September 2006, led to a touring band with Ronald Landa, Rob van der Loo and Sander Zoer.

The same line-up was retained for second album April Rain (CD 2), released by Roadrunner in March 2009. This 3CD set also includes live versions of Silhouette Of A Dancer, Pristine and Shattered, plus a full instrumental version of Lucidity.
