Kraut dreams, analogue filters and distorted basslines. Diversion Ends is the third full length album from a>m. Inspirational bands for the album is Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire. Not trying to replicate that music but letting it be the foundation, the base in how to create. Experimental with few electronic instruments, the process is fast, hardly more than two or three takes to let the dynamic and the nerve in the songs be saved. The lyrics is somewhat philosophical, somewhat political, trying to be a comment, hopefully valid. Producer is Johan Skugge, based in Stockholm. From the bands Harlem Electronics, Hidden Operator and Dissappearer. The discussion ahead of the recording was to get the album raw and gritty, emphasizing the lo-fi electronics from a>m. The album cover has a Hare, discovered dead in the north of Sweden by the photographer Calle Hellström who sent the picture to a>m who instantly decided it to be the cover art.
