Built on energy, analogue warmth and original beats, this solo album starts with drums at the centre, then opens out into something far wider. Produced entirely by Peter Gall, it draws on his deep jazz roots while refusing to settle into anything predictable.

The grooves are wild, raw and brash, but also immersive and trance-like. Vintage analogue synths shift the record into song-like forms and rich sound collages, bringing in echoes of Aphex Twin, Caribou, Boards of Canada, The Streets, 1960s and 1970s jazz, and the sound worlds of Blade Runner and David Lynch.
