Compiled from early sessions for Riverside during 1956, 1958 and 1962, this release presents pianist Bill Evens unaccompanied, apart from one trio performance with bassist Teddy Kotick and drummer Paul Motian. Produced by Orrin Keepnews, these are among the earliest recordings of Bill Evans under his own name.
