'Electronica 1 - Time Machine' is Jarre's first album in 14 years. The album was conceived with Jarre's wish to encompass the last few decades of electronic music with the participation of outstanding artists of all generations with whom Jarre feels especially connected with by a common DNA. It features appearances from The Who's Pete Townshend, M83, Boys Noize, Laurie Anderson, Moby, Massive Attack's 3D, Armin van Buuren, Gesaffelstein, Tangerine Dream, John Carpenter, Depeche Mode's Vince Clarke, Fuck Buttons, Little Boots, Air and Lang Lang.
