European Quartet Live

Even into his eighties, Toots Thielemans set the standards for jazz harmonica. He started developing his musical force when he was only three years old with playing the accordion. But it was his skill on the harmonica that brought him international fame, and it's that skill which is to the fore on European Quartet Live. Thielemans recorded these sets with pianist Karel Boehlee, bassist Hein van de Geyn and drummer Hans van Oosterhout. On April 29th, 2022, Toots Thielemans would have turned 100 years old. In honor of both this anniversary and his legacy, European Quartet Live is available on vinyl for the very first time as an exclusive Record Store Day 2022 release.
