The Korgis were a classy pop act who enjoyed significant success in the early 1980s. Their entire output for Rialto Records appears here for the first time. The band were formed in 1978 by two former members of Stackridge, Andy Davis and James Warren and scored their first hit with 'If I Had You' in 1979. The Korgis will be forever synonymous with the title track of this new 2-CD package, which gifted them a smash hit in 1980 (UK 5, US 18, Australia 11 France 1, Spain 1, Netherlands 3, Germany 3). 'Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime' was subsequently covered by the likes of The Dream Academy, Yazz, Beck, etc. This double-CD package boasts all of the band's recordings for Rialto, including three whole albums: 'The Korgis' (1979), 'Dumb Waiters' (1980) and 'Sticky George' (1981), as well as all of the band's period A and B sides. 'Wish You A Merry Christmas' makes its debut on CD.
