The late 1990s were a fertile stretch for American electronic music, and Telefon Tel Aviv were right at the centre of it. High school friends Joshua Eustis and the late Charles Cooper released their debut, Fahrenheit Fair Enough, on Hefty Records in September 2001.

Made in Eustis’ childhood bedroom in New Orleans’ Riverbend, the album drew from bounce, Detroit techno, Chicago house, and British electronica including Autechre, Aphex Twin, and Jega. Their aim was something American, southern, evolving, loose, and deeply romantic.

Now, for the 25th anniversary of this landmark LP, Ghostly International brings it back in a deluxe obi edition double vinyl in a new Watercolor variant, plus bonus digital material. A classic at the edges of IDM, experimental, and bass music, it continues to resonate with a new generation.
