Flaming Swords

Fievel is Glauque is a critically acclaimed genre-bending indie-jazz, indie-rock band, led by Zack Phillips in NYC and Ma Clement in Brussels. Their sound is described best by The Fader as "cosmic randomness".

The group signed to Fat Possum Records in August 2023 and continue to impress and grow their fanbase with their strange and beautiful songs. Flaming Swords is the band’s second full-length release, recorded live in a single evening in Brussels during summer 2022.

It was met with much critical acclaim; it received an 8.1 rating on Pitchfork, stating the record is “heady but not stuffy, precise but not rigid, dense but not cluttered, and contemplative but not lacking good humor.”
