Foretoken

Combining symphonic elements with genres such as folk metal, melodic death, tech deaths, and black metal, have allowed Foretoken to create something familiar yet unique. The band Foretoken is: Steve Redmond (guitars and orchestral compositions) and Dan Cooley (lyrics and vocals). Hannes Grossmann performs session work on drums. Hannes is best known for playing in bands such asHate Eternal, Obscura, and Necrophagist. Formed in Virginia, USA, in 2018, Foretoken began as the side-project of guitarist Steve Redmond who desired to create more climactic and genre expansive songs. Steve later contacted fellow Cyaegha bandmate Dan Cooley to perform vocal/lyrical duties. The band’s name Foretoken represents the eventuality of the album title and how that affects the songs’ characters.
