Sons of Sevilla return in 2026 with a new double A-side single marking a fresh chapter for brothers Henry and Reuben Vaun Smith. Formed in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, the duo have become known for their warm, nostalgic, and lightly psychedelic sound, blending soul, soft rock, Americana, and vintage pop into a sun-soaked, emotionally rich style.

Since debuting on Ubiquity Records in 2024, Sons of Sevilla have released two critically praised albums, Lullabies For a Wildcat (2024) and Street Light Moon (2025), alongside extensive touring across the UK, Europe, and the United States with a full live band. Their music has consistently been praised for its organic textures, emotional warmth, and timeless, retro-inspired feel.

The 2026 double A-side was recorded with producer Max Shrager at Studio Zoe in New Jersey following their US tour. It captures both continuity and evolution in their sound, refining their established aesthetic while expanding into richer sonic territory.

Lead track “Forever Heaven,” originally demoed in Leeds, features glassy vocals, chiming guitars, warm electric piano, rubbery bass, and a snare-driven soul groove, evoking humid, late-summer nights. Its counterpart, “Changing,” written in Los Angeles and recorded in New Jersey, leans into Americana and late-60s psychedelic pop, incorporating pedal steel and a more spacious, reflective arrangement.

Together, the release highlights the duo’s ongoing creative growth, reinforcing their ability to craft immersive, emotionally resonant music that feels both nostalgic and forward-looking.
