From Exile

Menzingers, the Philadelphia-based indie rockers, took advantage of their free time during this summer's stay-at-home order by recording a re-imagined acoustic version of their brilliant 2019 album Hello Exile.

Formed as teenagers in 2006, the band has showcased their strength as rough-and-tumble storytellers, with songs that are rooted in frenetic energy and lifelike detail. On From Exile, they elevated their lyrical narrative to new heights, reflecting on moments from the past and present: high-school hellraising, troubled relationships, aging and alcohol, and political ennui.

Despite revealing painful truths in their music, Menzingers maintain an irrepressible spirit that has always defined the band. These acoustic interpretations highlight the beautifully crafted nature of their songs.
