Future Song

Reissue of Marilyn Mazur's 1992 album Future Song, which featured Norwegian trumpeter and fellow-ECM Records artist Nils Petter Molvaer. The Denmark-based, classically trained percussionist Marilyn Mazur was part of Miles Davis' ensemble in the mid-1980s. In the 1990s, she was engaged by Jan Gabarek for concerts and CD productions, among other things. Her own group, Future Song, also includes trumpeter Nils Petter Molvaer and other established avant-garde musicians such as Croatian pianist Elvira Plenar and American singer Aina Kemanis.
