Freddie King, a blues guitar legend, released three albums for Shelter Records in 1971, 1972, and 1973. The first two albums were produced by Leon Russell, who introduced King to a commercial rock audience.

Despite King's passing at the young age of 42, his influence and music continue to live on. All three albums were critically acclaimed, with "Woman Across The River" even making it onto the US Top 200 Albums chart.
