One of the foundational bands of the 1990s pop-punk explosion, Squirtgun are back with the Ghostly Sunflowers 12" single on Pirates Press Records, their first new studio recordings in over 20 years!

Founded in 1993 by brothers Flav & Mass Giorgini, Squirtgun were one of the premiere pop-punk bands of the 1990s, releasing records with legendary Bay Area labels Lookout! Records and Fat Wreck Chords, and perhaps best known by the average moviegoer for their song "Social" playing over the opening credits to Kevin Smith's Mallrats.

Mass has since gone on to be a much sought-after producer, working with acts including Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, and Suzi Moon at his Sonic Iguana Studios.

Squirtgun's newly reinvigorated lineup - known in-house as the "Supersoaker lineup" - includes the Giorgini brothers joined by Kevin Sierzega, Dan Panic, and Zac Damon. The group's collective pedigree reads like a who's who of genre favorites: Teen Idols, Screeching Weasel, Common Rider, and many, many more!

Impressive, but not unusual when one considers that past band members and studio collaborators have included members of the likes of Green Day, Smoking Popes, and Alkaline Trio.
