Gravity was produced by Dan Hartman in 1986 due to the phenomenal success of Living In America from the soundtrack to Rocky VI. This single gained the #4 spot in the Pop chart, #10 in the R&B and #5 in the UK. ‘Gravity’, the follow up single, reached #26 in the R&B chart as well as #93 in the Pop chart. Also featured on this album is the James Brown classic ‘Turn Me Loose, I’m Dr. Feelgood’ which is a sure- fire dancefloor filler. ‘How Do You Stop’ was the third single release and returned James to the R&B top 10. It is a minor classic in Brown’s catalogue and was later covered by none other than Joni Mitchell on her 1994 album Turbulent Indigo. Released in deluxe Super Jewel cases, with bonus tracks, Gravity is a must for all Soul, Funk and Dance fans out there!
