Title

The Cramps present an album of 28 tracks filled with devil-may-care attitude and surreal storytelling. This collection features legendary artists such as Gene Vincent, Sonny Terry, and Faron Young, as well as one-hit wonders like Connie Lee And The Untouchables, The Hot Tamales, The Furys, The Chantels, and Hunter Watts And His Southern Pals.

The album embraces a variety of styles including wild rockabilly, instrumental rock ’n’ roll, western swing, honky tonk, blues, doo-wop, crime jazz, and beatnik weirdness. It also includes novelty pop 45s covering topics such as bubblegum, record collecting, wardrobe malfunctions, and more. Three tunes from death row add a touch of self-examination and angst to the mix.

With sleevenotes by Mojo’s Dave Henderson and all tracks remastered from the original sound sources, this album is a veritable blast of devil-may-care magic.
