Gun

In 1968, brothers Paul and Adrian Gurvitz and Louie Farrell started the band The Gun, a British band who are seen as one of the biggest influences on many hard rock and metal giants from the seventies and eighties. The band emerged from the 1965 rock band The Knack. Under this name they already supported bands such as Pink Floyd, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Tomorrow. After the name change in 1967, the band immediately signed with CBS and scored a top 10 hit in the UK Single Chart with “Race with the Devil”.
