Half Light

Lost album by the iconic bass player who made his name back in the late 70s with Public Image Ltd. Half Light was recorded in 2016 in Forest Gate, East London. Featuring a fascinating session from Jah Wobble and his long-time backing band.

"We had a few days spare, including mixing time, at the end of another session, and decided to make the most of it," says Wobble. "The idea was to relax and focus on a lighter style, simple melodies, not so much of the jazz-funk vibe or heavy, out-and-out dub but something lighter, more atmospheric and ambient. It's long and hypnotic. A genuinely deep record — a proper hidden gem, finally seeing the light of day."
