Also coming ahead of Nookie’s debut full length album for the label, these 2 tracks feature the incredibly talented vocalist Ruth Royall. A combination of new-gen and pioneer, this release is as exciting as it is refreshing, with Nookie’s recognisably versatile techniques perfectly complimenting Ruth’s impressively powerful harmonies.

Whilst ‘Hero’ is an uplifting, breakbeat driven drum and bass track, ‘We Shall Overcome’ explores the foundations of soulful house music, a divine contrast for a pair of post-summer anthems.
