Not all that is gold necessarily glitters. It was this idea that struck Tarja as she began work on the songs for her 2019 studio album In The Raw.
The title is to be understood as a clear declaration of intent: Tarja strongly wanted the album to sound direct, real, and immediate as old heavy rock albums used to sound. In The Raw received great reviews by fans and critics alike.
