Malcolm Middleton's sophomore album is already being hailed as a modern classic. a short, slightly cynical yet undeniably vibrant tour-de-force of pop, brought into being with a rare eye for detail and careful arrangement. Notable appearances on the album come from members of Mogwai, the Delgados, the Reindeer Section and fellow Arab Strapper Aidan Moffatt. The themes are love lost, relationships destroyed, self-loathing, and broken down cars thwarting attempted trysts.
