Jennie Bomb

Jennie Bomb is the second album by the garage rock band Sahara Hotnights. The all-girl group, heavily inspired by The Pretenders, Joan Jett and PJ Harvey, started playing in the 1990s and quickly gained attention after the release of their first EP in 1997. Their style is a blend of power pop, garage rock and punk rock, and their debut album was an immediate success in their home country of Sweden. Jennie Bomb followed two years later and was their big breakthrough to the rest of the world. Together with The Hives, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Mando Diao and The Hellacopters, they were seen as the new wave of Swedish rock 'n' roll. The single "Alright Alright (Here's My Fist, Where's the Fight?)" was a particularly big hit and was included in films such as Cheaper by the Dozen, New York Minute and Jackass: The Movie.
